Thank you for visiting Clue Hut! The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you of your rights under the Privacy Act, that all business or personal information provided to Clue Hut is on a voluntary basis, and that information provided will be protected to the extent permitted by the Privacy Act of 1974.
This Privacy Policy governs Clue Hut's website, your use of the Clue Hut website and our activities. It also covers any disputes that may arise from such use, as well as our Terms of Use and all of our dispute resolution provisions including arbitration, limitation on damages and choice of law. Your privacy is our concern. We work hard to earn and keep your trust.

Children under the age of sixteen (16) are not eligible to use our service. If you are under the age of 16, please do not register with Clue Hut or send any information about yourself to us: no names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses or other personal details.
Clue Hut does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 16. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Please contact us at the addresses in Paragraph 3 above if you believe we have any information from or about a child under 16.
5. Your Obligations
As a Clue Hut User, you have obligations toward other Clue Hut Users. Some of these obligations are required by law. Other rules are essential user-friendly practices in communities like Clue Hut. We take these principles seriously and any violation of these guidelines may lead to the restriction, suspension or termination of your account.
Always respect the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy and the User Agreement. This includes respecting all intellectual property rights.
Do not download or otherwise distribute information which may be deemed to be harmful, violent, offensive, racist or xenophobic or which may otherwise damage the spirit and purpose of Clue Hut and its community.
Do not distribute information to Clue Hut and /or other Users which might be harmful to you or your professional/social status.
Do not distribute confidential, proprietary information or trade secrets that are not legally protected or you do not want others to know about. Clue Hut recommends Users develop a professional working relationship before disclosing any confidential, proprietary information or trade secrets to another party. In the event one intends to disclose confidential material, knowledge, or information to other parties, it is strongly recommended a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) be executed by the parties before such information is shared. An NDA creates a confidential relationship between the parties to protect any type of confidential and proprietary information or trade secrets. For an example of an NDA please click here.
Please notify us when you believe a Clue Hut User is sharing information or ideas that are owned or are legally protected by another individual or entity. We will investigate all complaints of this nature and remove all material being shared that is in violation of any proprietary rights.
6. Changing or Removing Information
You have a right to access, change and eliminate your information and data collected when you registered as a Clue Hut User. You may modify or delete your profile, change your settings to control visibility and accessibility and alter other information at any time. Information will be updated immediately.
When you update your information, a copy of the information you originally provided may stay in our archives for backup and/or archival copies of database information.
Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on Clue Hut, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another Clue Hut User) you generally cannot remove such communications.
You can also close your account. If you close your account, we will remove your name and other personally identifiable information from our publicly viewable database. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of Clue Hut. Certain retained data might be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as analysis of aggregated, non-personally identifiable data, account recovery, or if required by law.
To request that we close your account and remove your information from the Clue Hut website, please send your request to customerservice@ClueHut.com. Please send your request using an email account that you have registered with Clue Hut under your name. You will receive a response to requests sent to customerservice@ClueHut.com within five business days of its receipt.

Personal information you choose to give us
The purpose of Clue Hut is to assist Users in achieving their life long goals and aspirations. We do this by providing a user friendly social networking website, where users can connect and communicate with other like minded individuals. It is in connecting with other like minded individuals Users can make their life long goals and dreams become a reality at a much faster pace. For this, Users voluntarily provide information about themselves for the purposes of developing, maintaining and enhancing a network of contacts. Users need to provide information so that others, including Clue Hut, are able to identify them personally: name, contact information (such as email address, country, ZIP/postal code, etc), a summary of your background and interests, educational, professional or other affiliations and any other information.
Doing so acts as express and voluntary acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and Clue Hut's User Agreement. Participation with Clue Hut is entirely voluntary on your part. If you have any hesitation about providing such information to us and/or having such information displayed on the Clue Hut website or otherwise used in any manner permitted in this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement, you should not become a member of the Clue Hut community.
We retain this information so that, for example, you may view prior messages or see contacts. When you update information, we usually keep a backup copy of the prior version for a reasonable period of time to enable reversion to the prior version of that information.
In addition to this purpose, you will need to provide information to us to facilitate registration, manage contacts, record and keep User Content and for Customer Service purposes. User Content (as defined in the Clue Hut Terms of Use) is posted at your own risk. We allow you to set privacy options but no security measures are perfect. We cannot control the actions of other Users who have access to your information. We cannot guarantee that content you post not be viewed by unauthorized persons. Even after removal, copies of content may remain viewable in archived pages or if other Users copy or store them.
Finally, Clue Hut may collect information to effectively and efficiently respond to an inquiry and deliver service.
Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on Clue Hut is a violation of the Clue Hut Terms of Service and should be reported to Customer Service at the above mailing address or customerservice@ClueHut.com
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement, but please note that your withdrawal of consent will not be retroactive.
Clue Hut communicates with Users email messages, notices on the website or other means, including text or messaging. If you opt for carrier service on a mobile communications subscription, you will pay service fees associated, including text messaging charges. Information Automatically Collected and Stored
Technical information of certain types is stored automatically to make your visit to Clue Hut seamless. Cookies, Web Beacons, Log files, IP addresses and computer information are all stored.
Cookies: A cookie is a data file on your computer which allows websites to recognize Users upon their return. Just as you have personalized information that identifies you from others, cookies and log file data customize your computer.
A 'persistent' cookie is set when you log in to your Clue Hut account. The next time you visit the Clue Hut website, the persistent cookie allows us to recognize you as a registered User and you will not have to log in again. If you intentionally log out of Clue Hut, you will need to re-enter your password the next time you visit. Another type of cookie, called a 'session' cookie, is used to identify a particular visit to the Clue Hut website. Session cookies expire after a short time or when you close your web browser.
If browser settings do not allow cookies, computers will not be able to use Clue Hut.

These cookies only seek generic and not personally identifiable information, e.g. your industry or geographic location, your occupation, or information about your professional or educational background, to customize your experience. Browsers are set up to accept cookies but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies. Unfortunately, if you opt refuse all cookies, you will not be able to use Clue Hut since we do use persistent and session cookies.
When you visit Clue Hut, your IP address, the URLs of sites you visited, your browser and your ISP are automatically sent. We never track or record information about individuals and their visits and personally identifiable information is not shared with third-parties without permission or when required by law.
We use this data to learn about the number of visitors, what technology they use and information they need to improve Clue Hut service.
8. Security
Clue Hut 's computer system employs unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Clue Hut takes appropriate precautions to protect User information. Account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. Sensitive information (such as your password), that information is encrypted. Email messages and similar messaging systems are not encrypted so please do not transmit confidential information through these channels.

Clue Hut may contain links to other websites as a service to our Users. When Users link to an outside website, they leave Clue Hut. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. We encourage Users to read the policy statements of every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy only applies to Clue Hut.
Prohibitions
Clue Hut will not link to web sites that exhibit hate, bias or discrimination. We reserve the right to deny or remove any link that contains misleading information, unsubstantiated claims or is in conflict with the laws of the United States that is made aware to us.
Disclaimer of Endorsement
When Users select a link to an outside web site, they leave Clue Hut and are subject to the privacy and security policies of the outside web site.
